Ecowas

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is a regional organization dedicated to promoting economic integration and collaboration among its member states in West Africa. Founded to foster peace, security, and stability, ECOWAS operates through various institutions, including the ECOWAS Parliament, the Community Court of Justice, and the West African Health Organisation.

ECOWAS offers a range of services focused on advancing economic and social development, such as initiatives for renewable energy, agricultural resilience, and public health programs. It also plays a significant role in regional security through the Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing.
