Institute for Policy Studies

The Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) is the nation’s oldest multi-issue progressive research organization, dedicated to driving social change for over 60 years. Rooted in partnerships with major social justice movements—such as peace, civil rights, LGBTQ and gender equality, economic justice, and climate action—IPS provides both grassroots support and high-level policy advice.

IPS engages in comprehensive public research, disseminating findings through reports, articles, and media appearances to educate the public and influence policymakers.
