Kenaz is a dynamic mobile art studio founded by Ghaleya Almansoori, a talented alum of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Designed to bridge the gap in art education within rural areas of the United Arab Emirates, Kenaz travels across the region, offering a diverse range of creative workshops that combine modern art techniques with traditional crafts. Ghaleya’s innovative services include printmaking, spice painting, Talli embroidery, and mosaic lanterns, aimed at inspiring creativity in both children and adults.

With a strong background in education and community engagement, Ghaleya manages every aspect of Kenaz, from logistics to workshop preparation, while empowering volunteers to contribute and grow within the arts. Following her educational philosophy that creativity should be accessible to all, Kenaz fosters an inclusive environment where participants can express themselves artistically and think outside the box. As Kenaz continues to expand its reach, Ghaleya envisions establishing a permanent facility for exhibitions and educational programs, further enriching the artistic landscape of the UAE.
